Licensed FAA Commercial Pilot with a B.S Degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He worked as a Private Investigator and was a sworn law enforcement officer in Virginia.

In the post 911 period, Mr. Lang served as a Special Deputy with the U.S. Marshal Service and worked for the United States Department of Homeland Security assigned to TSA as a liaison working with airlines, airports and federal law enforcement agencies in Virginia.

In 2008 he was featured as a Lead Investigator in the Discovery Channel TV series "UFOs over Earth“. In 2009 Mr. Lang managed the BAASS / MUFON SIP Project and STAR Team, which at the time was the most advanced funded non-government, rapid response UFO investigative team in the world.
